There’s not much longer to wait before you’ll be able to buy
the Pi-Top, the world’s first 3D printed laptop that you build yourself. The
Raspberry Pi-Top comes on the market in May, priced at £180. For that, you’ll
get everything you need to build your laptop. It’s all
open source, because its inventors want it to be used to teach children
to become computer literate, so they can go on to build anything they want. Although the Pi-Top comes with an injection-moulded
case, you also get STL files so you can 3D print your own case in whatever
colour you want.
