The future of footwear?

Imagine a time when your shoes will be 3D printed and custom-made using scans of your foot, so that they fit even better than a glove and completely transform your
walking experience. You’ll be able to change the shoes' colour – provided by
softly glowing LED lights – to suit your outfit. That day isn’t far off
according to footwear company SOLS, who have developed a technology called Adaptiv,
whereby the insoles constantly adapt and respond to your movements using
gyroscopes and pressure sensors that move air pressure and fluids around the
shoes. You can already get their insoles for your existing footwear, but
tomorrow they promise you the complete shoe.
